MyEMR for the Pocket PC's spinal exam window

The spinal palpation exam window includes

  • Graphical spinal views for "painting" findings on the spine using a palette of spinal listing symbols.
  • Indicate fixation using the padlock symbols to explicitly define mild, moderate and severe fixation and to relatively indication a decrease, increase or no change in fixation.
  • Indicate subluxations of the spinal vertebrae using the subluxation palette.
  • Indicate segmental movement upon adjustment.
  • Indicate paraspinal tissue palpation findings, such as pain (lightning bolt), hyper-tonicity (musical note for "tone"), hypo-tonicity (upside-down musical note), edema (swollen capillary symbol) and temperature differential (triangle heat symbol).
  • The listing symbol entries, which model traditional paper note systems, and "painting" behavior makes the spinal palpation window exeptionally fast.
  • All entries are stored in the patient's file, so that on a follow visit, the doctor just indicates the changes since the last visit (just a click or two!).
  • Random text generation ensures that your chiropractic SOAP notes never sound the same from visit to visit, and throughout the patient's care, so that your SOAP notes look meticulously dictated and transcribed.
  • When compared to Palm Pilot competitors, MyEMR for the Pocket PC lets you describe findings from the occiput through the coccyx, instead of picking two or three segments from a pick list.
  • All spinal findings in MyEMR are captured in a single window using listing symbols for a rapid "at-a-glance" review of the patient's existing findings.
