MyEMR for the Pocket PC's treatment plan

 

MyEMR's treatment plan is user customizable, and since a patient's treatment plan generally remains the same from visit to visit, this is a great place for the random text generation engine to do its job!

 

• Because of the random text generation, your notes will not sound "canned" or "computerized" because the random text ensures you that different choices of words are used to describe the treatment plan from visit to visit.  Even when compared with 20 visits, the treatment plans never sound repetitive.
• Indicate visit status, for example "3 visits per week until a reexamination warrants a change in visit frequency".  With that type of visit status, you are not likely to change it from visit to visit, while sounding assertive to the insurance adjuster regarding visit frequency.
• Indicate treatment modalities, add new modalities and change the order they appear in the pick list for minimal scrolling.
• Each treatment modality includes a short term goal.  For example, "hot packs were applied to the cervical and thoracic spine in order to increase local circulation."  To "increase local circulation" is the short term goal.
• You have lists of regions or region groups to associate with each modality.
• Users with a few days of experience like to group modalities into packages, such as "hot packs, massage and adjustment", to provide even more natural verbiage and to package therapies for enhanced income potential.
