Batch thru date defined in Insurance Manager Registry
The "batch thru" date is added for the purpose of creating insurance, by default, until 11:59PM of the previous day. This design is for the convenience of office managers who balance their Transaction Recaps, Statistics and MyEMR Visit Recaps the next business morning. Claims can then be created through the previous day based on accounting that has been audited. The ongoing transactions for the current business day are not considered for insurance batching, but will be considered on the next business day, etc.
This allows offices to close at a dependable time without balancing accounting activity until the next morning.
The batch through date can be adjusted to include the current day, if desired. Its default is to display the previous day.
