By default, the Box 19 information is shared by all providers until a provider indicates his or her unique entry.

This information can be edited from the transaction window as the patient is being processed at the front desk, which is necessary for providers who make frequent changes to Box 19 information.

This information may always be edited in the insurance policy window, with user interface controls for both the shared Box 19 information and the provider specific information.

Multi-disciplinary, multi-provider simultaneous diagnosis sets

The diagnosis window has been modified to support a unique diagnosis for each active provider, simultaneously. This is particularly necessary in a multi-disciplinary setting. A patient seeing an MD and a DC would have at least two current diagnosis sets.

The insurance claim creation routine has been modified to support these simultaneously current diagnosis sets.

Claim relocking is also modified within the requirements of this design.

By default, all providers share a common diagnosis. When a particular provider takes ownership of a diagnosis, the remaining providers still reference a shared diagnosis until another provider takes ownership of a particular diagnosis set.

The database upgrade takes this into consideration for legacy data. All legacy diagnosis sets are shared but ownership can retroactively apply to a provider taking retroactive ownership.

Integrated credit card processing

The authorization routine has been modified to allow multiple transactions on multiple cards on the same receipt.

Post insurance: analyzing policy order and resubmit behavior

If you have a patient with more than 1 active policy set to primary, the Post Insurance window will now display a descriptive message and close the window after a descriptive message.
