FTPXNet upload/download client

This secure FTP client can be used to upload and/or download data to our secure FTP server using private FTP account and your assigned password.  FTPXNet includes "resume" capabilities if your Internet connection is broken during uploads and downloads.

The file is a small download.  You can click on the link and "Open" or "Save As..." and save it to your Desktop.

Take all default installation options.  After the installation is complete, you will have a new FTPXNet icon on your Desktop.

1. Double click on the FTPXNet icon.  When FTPXNet loads, from the menu choose:  File->Logon

2. You will see a logon window.  Enter swmotif.net as the host name.  Enter your private user account name and password provided to you by Software Motif technical support.  Choose the "Implicit" security option, and ensure that PASV mode is checked.  Click OK.

3.  After clicking OK, you are now logged into your private encrypted FTP account.  You will see the window below.

4.  From the top dropdown menu, select Actions->Store ...

5.  You will now be able to use the Windows file search box to find your file.  Double-click on the file you wish to upload.  If you are uploading your EMR Datacenter or MyEMR Windows database for data maintenance or conversion, the factory default folder location to find your file is C:\Program Files\Chirosoft\Data\Main.  If you are uploading for an Auto-Doc data conversion, you should separately upload each file in your "autodb" folder on your computer.

6.  FTPXNet will ask you for the file type, as in the window below.  Make sure "Binary" is selected.

7.  You will now see the file uploading.  You will see the transfer speed and the progress bar as in the window below.
