MyEMR for the Windows Powered Pocket PC
MyEMR 2007 for the Pocket PC - XML text engine released!
MyEMR 2007 for the Pocket PC, both Standard and Personal Injury Editions, which implement the XML random text engine, are now available as download links for users with active software support agreements.  Windows Mobile 2003 and Windows Mobile 2005 Pocket PC devices are supported.

The new "MyEMR Mobile Verbiage" refresh utility replaces the "MyEMR Pocket PC Verbiage Refresh" utility, which previously performed a "copy and convert" process.

MyEMR Mobile Verbiage requires the Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework, which should be present on all Windows 2000, 2003 and XP machines running Automatic Updates.  Otherwise, the InstallShield package automatically downloads the .NET 2.0 Framework as part of the installation process.  For a more convenient installation, we always recommend visiting http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com to download any critical updates and the .NET 2.0 Framework if not found on the local computer.

The cs_pub.cdb and CatchPhrase.cdb file formats have been completely obseleted by this XML format software release.  Accordingly, users can delete cs_pub.cdb and CatchPhrase.cdb from their Pocket PC's.  After installation of the MyEMR® 2007 software, users should place the appropriate XML format files on the Pocket PC device, by going to:

Start->All Programs->Software Motif->MyEMR Mobile Verbiage  - press the Transfer buttons to complete the task. 

June 2006 downloads - MyEMR Suite

The June 2006 downloads of EMR Datacenter™ 2006 and MyEMR® 2006 for Windows are now officially released.

This update supports Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows 2003 server.  If you are still running Windows 98 or Windows ME computers, you should upgrade the operating system prior to installing these updates.

As always, you should ensure you have a current database backup prior to applying any upgrades to your computers.

This update requires a data conversion, so all Pocket PC's must be synchronized and removed from their cradle (or disconnected from WiFi and Bluetooth) in order for the database upgrade process to complete. 

In preparation of the upgrade, you should ensure that all of your computers are current with Microsoft's Update service, using the Windows Update link provided.

To install the updates:

1.  Ensure you have a data backup, and that all users are logged off, and no Pocket PC's are connected in the cradles or by WiFi or Bluetooth.

2.  Download both SetupEMRDatacenter.exe and SetupMyEMRWin.exe to your server's C:\Program Files\Chirosoft folder. 

3.  Install the SetupEMRDatacenter.exe and SetupMyEMRWin.exe on your server first.

4.  Log onto the EMR Suite Attendant on the server which will request to upgrade the database. 

5.  When the database upgrade is complete, you can browse to your server's shared \\Chirosoft folder and run SetupEMRDatacenter.exe and SetupMyEMRWin.exe for each of your other networked computers.
